Quote of the Week #2

Quote of the Week #2

I have the most ambivalent feelings toward the self-proclaimed “human-lover” Izaya Orihara. He acts like a god and speaks as though he holds the world in his hands, yet he is undeniably adroit and astute. Therefore, god or not, his observations of people and their behaviors finally boil down to this quote:

“Dying means to be gone. And what goes, is not your pain, but your existence itself. But in your mind, you think that you’d have a sense of “nothing” after you die. How can you call that “nothing”? In other words, you don’t have an idea of what death is really like.”

-Izaya Orihara ( From the anime and manga Durarara written by Ryogo Narita)
